Mission Statement

Our mission is to make disciples for Jesus Christ and to proclaim the good news of God’s grace to all the people in our influence.

Vision Statement

We see a congregation full of the Holy Spirit, praising and worshipping God and knowing their salvation is secure through their belief in Jesus Christ. We see a praying congregation who thanks God for his blessings on them and who seeks his strength to obtain healing, forgiveness of their sins, direction for their lives and a peace and comfort in their hearts. We see a congregation full of energetic, friendly people who want to interact and affect each other’s lives through Christian love. We see people called to discipleship while being inspired by the Word of God and educated in the Christian faith and way of life.

We see our membership growing with families who have children and youth who need nurturing as they begin their life of discipleship. We see and open and inviting church building alive on multiple days of the week offering meaningful fellowship, worship, activities, radical hospitality and programs that are essential to this process.

We obtain our mission from Christ’s commission to his disciples from the Holy Scripture and we see people hungry for the word of God in Bible studies overflowing in attendance for all age groups. Our knowledge of God’s word allows us to take action in serving others as we become the hands and feet of Christ.

We see many opportunities for sharing our time, talents and money and we are utilizing the strengths of our people to easily satisfy each ministry’s identified objectives. We see people stepping forward to be trained and lead the many programs as leaders are needed.

CORE VALUES

Relationship with God and Christ

We value a vital spiritual relationship with God that glorifies him. We believe that Christ died for our sins and He is our personal savior.

Friendliness and Relationships

We value a friendly congregation which makes a difference in people’s lives through Christian love, unity of purpose, personal support, radical hospitality and meaningful fellowship.

Service Outreach

We want to be known as Christ’s hand and feet as we intentionally reach out in service to others within our congregation’s influence.

Worship

A foundational core value is to praise and worship God in all that we do.

Discipleship

We believe that Christ calls us to a life of discipleship requiring full devotion and commitment.

Evangelism

We believe that sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with both the saved and the unsaved is a priority.

Education

Nurturing our children and youth as they grow in discipleship is fundamental. Strong children and youth activity programs are essential to this process.

Prayer

We value prayer as central to our relationship and communication with God from whom we obtain healing, peace, growth, forgiveness, direction, and strength.

Stewardship

As disciples we value wise stewardship of our time, talents and money; also being mindful of the environment God has given us.

Lay Leadership

We believe that lay leadership and developing leaders is important for the advancement of Christian programs within our congregation.

Authority of the Bible

The Bible is our authority for Christian belief and we value biblical education for all age groups in our congregation so that our actions will be based on God’s word.
